Dr. E. Lynn Beard Dr. Marissa Yeaman
 Dr. Lynn Beard received a Bachelor Of Science from West Virginia University College of Agriculture and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing small animal medicine for 41 years. She & her husband Buddy enjoyed watching their son Ryne play baseball for many years until he graduated from college. Dr. Beard also enjoys gardening, playing the piano, reading and is an active member of Mount Hermon Baptist Church. The family enjoys 2 dogs, Wheezie and Gabby & 2 cats, Sofie & Simon.

Dr. Yeaman is a veterinarian with a passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Yeaman has special interests in veterinary surgery and in building long-term relationships with clients and their pets, helping guide them through every stage of their animals' lives. She is dedicated to combining medical expertise with personalized care to support the health and wellbeing of each patient. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Yeaman enjoys reading, snow skiing, and spending time with her family at Smith Mountain Lake. She also shares her home with her German Shepherd who keeps her active and reminds her daily why she loves working with animals.

Cheryl Cheyanne
Cheryl has been a veterinary technician for 25 years. Her hobbies include watching NASCAR racing and Dallas Cowboys football games as well as traveling with her husband to her favorite destination - the beach! She shares her home with 3 dogs - Maggie, Gracie and Woody.

Cheyanne has been in veterinary medicine for 6 years. She has two cats named Henry and Louie.

Ashlee
Ashlee has worked in veterinary medicine for 3 years. She has a daughter she enjoys spending time with. The favorite part of her job is creating bonds with our clients and their babies.

Andy
Andy has been in veterinary medicine for 30 years. He and his wife have a small farm with lots of chickens and livestock. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his chickens, ducks and geese and working in his garden.

Sophia
Sophia has over 25 years experience in veterinary medicine starting as a large animal veterinary assistant then moving into small animal practice. She became a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) in 2005, and is now the office manager at the clinic. She enjoys trail running, doing stained glass, and spending time with her husband, their 4 cats, and their Basset Hound Hank.

Kaleigh
Kaleigh has worked in veterinary medicine for 3 years. What started off as a first job in high school has turned into a passion. She has a cockapoo named Avery, and in her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing and riding four wheelers and side by sides.

Kathy
Kathy has 12 yrs experience as a veterinary technician and is now working as one of our receptionists. She has a love for animals, especially for her Bernese Mountain Dog Joey and her Golden Retriever Piper. When not at work, she and her husband enjoy spending time with their 2 children as well as spoiling their 3 grandchildren.

Dr. Laura Dover Luffman, is Co-owner of our practice as well as the owner of Animal Medical Center on Riverside Dr. She is a native of Georgia and a 1994 graduate of Auburn University's School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine in the Danville area for 25 years. She is the proud mother of 4 children and shares her home with 4 dogs & 3 cats. Her hobbies include reading, flute playing, watching her boys play soccer & football, & being active in the community. Her clinical interests include internal medicine cases, preventative medicine, & surgery. She enjoys building a lifetime relationship with her clients and their pets.

Lisa is Co-Owner of our practice and is the Practice Manager here as well as of our sister clinic, Animal Medical Center and has been for 28 years. She handles all the behind the scenes action here and at AMC. Her furry companions are a Golden Retriever named Riley and a Goldendoodle named Tatum. Lisa loves to travel and spend time with her husband Dee and her children Evan and Cara.

Tamiah
Tamiah has been in the grooming field for 5 years, and started out as a bather. Her favorite breeds to groom are Golden Retrievers and Great Pyreneeses. She has 4 furbabies - an American Bully-Rottweiler mix and 3 Domestic Shorthair cats. The favorite aspect of her job is seeing the owners' reaction when they get their fur baby back after their spa day!

James
James enjoys going out shopping and eating with family and friends. While he is figuring out what he wants to go to school for, he really enjoys working in Camp K9 with all of the different dogs. Even though he hasn't worked at Mt. Hermon Animal Medical Center for very long, he has grown to care for and love each and every dog as if they were his own.
